BAREBONES Beacon Light -Slate Gray

Shed some light on life’s journey with the Barebones Beacon. Our light comes with a smooth dimming feature that allows you to completely brighten your surroundings or simply set the mood. Hanging is a snap with its carabiner top, and standing is a cinch with its sturdy base.

The Beacon comes with a 30-inch cord for its rechargeable batterywhich lasts 200+ hours on low or three hours on high. And thanks to a convenient battery life indicator, you’ll never be left in the dark.

A BEACON, A GUIDE

The Beacons classic and functional design was inspired by two durable and lasting pieces that came before it. Its body shape and protective casing is influenced by the design of traditional fishermans lantern, often called the onion lamp.

These lanterns served as fishermens primary source of light, and aided the crew in staying the course through even the most tumultuous of elements. Offering another source of inspiration for its body shape and directly influencing the inclusion of the carabineer top is the traditional coal miners lamp. Anchored throughout mining tunnels, these lanterns served as miners guardians as they worked through dangerous environments.

A nod to both designs, enhanced by Barebones signature beauty and durability principles, has shed a new beam on outdoor and exploration lighting.

    ABOUT BAREBONES LIVING:

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you love. Come, be drawn byyourTrue North.”- Rumi –

Barebones founder Robert Workman grew up doing cattle drives on his familys ranch. Even as a young boy who had just learned to ride, hed set out at dawn to avoid the heat of the day and drive cattle down the path. At that hour, the cattle moved slow as cattle do. The Chuck Wagons would leave camp at the same time and set up where they estimated the drivers would stop for the day. At the end of the drive, all hot and dirty and bone-weary, Robert and his companions would sit down for a meal that tasted like heavena meal cooked in well seasoned cast iron.

“When I’m in the garden on my ranch, with my hands in the earth or witnessing the magic of a star-filled sky far from city lights or fully experiencing conscious time spent in nature, everything trivial falls away. I’m reminded why I’m here and what matters to me most. It is humbling and expansive all at once. It brings clarity and renews my passion to create the impactful life I imagine made vibrant by family, nature and the humanitarian work I love.

My intention is for Barebones to inspire a desire to consciously engage with nature and, as the poet Rumi invites, ‘Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you love.’ Come, be drawn to your True North.”
